Fall is in the Air......

When September 1st hits, I consider it FALL!!  I know technically the first day of fall isn't until September 23rd, and YES, I am very aware that the temps are still reaching a scorching 97 degrees here in GA......but it's SEPTEMBER!!!  We are in the last quadrant of the year!!  This is when it is SUPPOSED to cool off, and the leaves are SUPPOSED to start changing!  (Hello mother nature!!  are you taking notes!!!)  It's when I break out my cinnamon candles, and start digging for my scarves! It's when I start scouting out the biggest pumpkins and reworking my table arrangements!!    Not only does this month bring the tease of the upcoming holidays, it also holds many celebratory moments!!  My birthday is this month.....Daddy K and I married in this month....and MOST importantly college FOOTBALL begins this month!!!!  Do I even need to mention there is less than 24 hours until Alabama kicks off!!!  Ohhhh September, how I have been waiting for you!!!!


This time of year gets me in the mood!!!......

The mood to change my wardrobe!!!

    I'm looking forward to fall too! I live in Oklahoma where we've just had our 60+ day of 100 degree or hotter day! We need cool weather and rain :)

    We finally had some cooler weather up here in OK and we went to our first football game this weekend (Geaux Tigers ;) ) so I am SO in the mood for fall! Thanks for the great inspiration photos.

    I love that twig wreath and the pumpkin centerpiece. May be I could try making that twig wreath. I have some twigs at home that I had gathered for something else but I won't dare to do it now. We have relatives visiting us. They already think I am crazy. I don't want to confirm that.
